Six shot Ashton brings the House Down
New Farington House (yellow) v Walton Athletic - Premier Division
Walton Athletic wrapped up their premier division season with a 6-4 win at New Farington House thanks to an Anthony Ashton double hat trick which took his total for the season to 17 and leaves him in joint second place in the premier goal scorer table. Bryon Andrew, Adam Smith and Chris Thomas (2) scored for New Farry.
Ashton on Ribble completed their division 1 season with a 2-1 win at Worden Rangers, Warton won 6-1 at Frenchwood, Preston Victoria beast AFC Longridge 7-3 and Vernon Sports had a comfortable home win against Wyresdale Rangers. Leyland Orient and Ribbleton completed their season in division2 with Orient winning 5-0 with goals from Darren Marshall, Sean Ward, Michael Rimmer (2) and Matthew Eastham.
Charnock Richard and Lammack played back-to-back fixtures in youth division red with Lammack winning the first game 1-0 and Charnock winning the second 4-1. Walshaw Sports and Padiham drew their game 0-0. Southport need just one point to take the youth division white title after their 9-0 win at Appley Bridge and they paraded the Youth Trophy in front of 3,500 fans at Haig Avenue yesterday prior to the Southport v Lincoln City game. Coppull United Blues won 5-2 at Burscough Richmond and Walmer Bridge beat Lostock Hall SC 3-2.
The destination of the youth division blue title is some distance off being decided, leaders AFC Fylde beat Chipping 5-1 but Lostock St Gerards, with games in hand, won 3-0 at Wyre Villa and then drew 0-0 in back-to-back games. Thornton Cleveleys beat Mellor 3-2 and then drew 0-0 also in back-to-back games and finally Broughton Amateurs beat Penwortham St Teresa’s 2-1 at the Sports Arena.

The Lancashire Sunday League encourages all referees to become members of the Referees Association and it is League policy to give priority of appointments to those referees who are an RA member.
Preston Referees Society is based at BAC Club, South Meadow Lane, Preston PR1 8JP, they meet on the first Monday of each month during the football season and everyone is welcome to attend their meetings. The meetings start at 7.30pm and usually finish around 9.00pm.

Physical Training: The Society provides physical training for its members at UCLan Sports Arena Training every Monday evening between 6.30-7.30pm except on Society Monthly Meeting nights when it will be brought forward to 6.00-7.00pm.
