South Ribble Parks are OFF but Preston Parks ON this Weekend
South Ribble Borough Council have said that their pitches are waterlogged and unfit for play this weekend, Saturday 09th & Sunday 10th November 2019. This means that no matches will take place this weekend on the following South Ribble Council pitches;
Gregson Lane Recreation GroundHigher Walton Recreation GroundHuttonKingsfold (Penwortham) Much Hoole Recreation Ground Tardy Gate Recreation Ground Walmer BridgeWorden Park (Leyland)
However, Preston City Council pitches are ON subject to the decision of the match referee. However, the Council and the Local Leagues request that club officials and referees act responsibly and do not play on any pitch which is clearly unfit. If a pitch has been declared unfit it must not be used for a friendly game.
