It’s going to be quite the battle at the top of the π£πΏπ²πΊπΆπ²πΏ ππΆππΆππΆπΌπ» for the rest of the season between AFC Preston and Bamber Bridge Utd after both won their games against Whinney Hill and Ribbleton respectively by a single goal. Acregate Lane Labour Club won 3-0 at home against Astley & Buckshaw Utd (Blues).
In ππΆππΆππΆπΌπ» π’π»π², leaders Astley & Buckshaw Utd won 2-1 at home to Fishwick Rangers, moving them six clear at the summit. Second-placed Wyresdale Rangers won their match away at Fulwood & Broughton. Luke Russell scored four goals for Fylde Coast Football in victory at home against Theatre Boys, Rufford Park Rangers also earned three points versus Sir Tom Finney.
Four games took place in ππΆππΆππΆπΌπ» π§ππΌ and not an away in sight as Greenlands, Park Utd and Chorley Wanderers won away from home, while there was a 3-3 draw between Cottam Town and FC Bartle.
Gregson Lane lead the way in ππΆππΆππΆπΌπ» π§π΅πΏπ²π², they turned a 1-1 draw at the interval into a 5-2 victory at Ashton Villa. Penwortham St Teresa’s (Yellows) are just three points back in second, they won 2-1 at home to St. Annes (Rangers). BAE Warton were victorious by the same scoreline away at Tarleton Corinthians. Both Sam Harwood and Joe Winstanley scored hat-tricks at Moor Park United won 7-0 against Sporting Preston.
Penwortham St Teresa’s (Whites) are top of ππΆππΆππΆπΌπ» ππΌππΏ, they overcame Atletico Clifton and the PST (Whites) side are yet to lose a league game this season. Ribbleton Athletic are back up to second, they won at home against Whittle. AFC Bamber won 1-0 a home against Buckshaw, while Penwortham St Teresa’s (Blues) are up to fifth win a home success over Athletico Preston.
