Bamber Bridge Utd moved to the top of the π£πΏπ²πΊπΆπ²πΏ ππΆππΆππΆπΌπ» this morning with a 4-1 away win over SRDC (Purples). The same scoreline saw Whinney Hill triumph against Acregate Lane Labour Club.
For the second week in succession, Fylde Coast Football earned three points against Rufford Park Rangers, the latest instalment seeing Fylde Coast turn around a 2-1 half-time deficit to win 3-2 in ππΆππΆππΆπΌπ» π’π»π². Lonsdale Casuals drew 3-3 with Sir Tom Finney.
ππΆππΆππΆπΌπ» π§ππΌ leaders Burscough Villa drew 1-1 with Cottam Town, allowing Park United to join them on 32 points after Park won away at Chorley Wanderers. FC Bartle defeated Midgery Court 5-1, while Greenlands were 2-0 down at the interval before coming back to win 4-2 at home to Gregson Lane Wanderers. SRDC (Blues) won for the first time this season, they triumphed 4-1 at Bamber Bridge Town.
A William Cooper hat-trick against St Anthony’s helped Penwortham St Teresa’s (Yellows) close within three points of ππΆππΆππΆπΌπ» π§π΅πΏπ²π² leaders Gregson Lane. BAE Warton won 2-1 at home to Sporting Preston and Kirkham Seniors earned victory away at Tarleton Corinthians.
As always there were plenty of goals in ππΆππΆππΆπΌπ» ππΌππΏ, including two 4-3 results as AFC Sherwood won at Penwortham St Teresa’s (Blues) and Atletico Clifton prevailed at home to Buckshaw. Adlington are up to second with victory at Whittle, Athletico Preston beat Ribbleton Athletic 2-0 and FC Friargate won 3-0 at home to AFC Bamber.
