Cadley extended their lead at the top of 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗹𝗲 with a 4-3 victory at home to Appley Bridge, the score was 3-3 at the break. There were wins for Hesketh Bank AFC at home to Brinscall Village U18 (Yellows) and Chorley Wanderers away to Sir Tom Finney YFC (U18). With the score goalless between Penwortham St Teresa’s (U17) and Leyland Albion at half-time, few would have predicted Albion going on to win 7-4 after eleven goals in 45 minutes at Hutton Playing Field.
In just their third league game of the season, Fulwood Amateur (U18) earned their first win of the campaign in 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 against Atherton Laburnum Rovers. Slyne with Hest drew 1-1 against second-placed Daten.
Two games resulted in two home wins in 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 as league leaders Brinscall Village U17 (Yellows) recorded an impressive win at home to Leyland B.T.R. Second on the ladder Chorley Wanderers (U17) kept up the pressure with a home victory against Gregson Lane YFC.
